When Victor Claver ambled into the Palau Blaugrana for his first practice session on Thursday, it was like a new homeowner who walks through the front door, stops, and takes a deep breath through their nostrils as they survey the interior of their recently acquired yet still-to-be-lived-in abode.
After playing for Spain in the Summer Olympics in Rio with and a few days of rest thereafter, Claver finally had the chance to practice with his new teammates.
Instants before stepping onto the floor, he chatted with coaches Georgios Bartzokas Christos Pappas, who he played under last season while at Lokomotiv Kuban.
Once out on the court, Pau Ribas showed him around.
The 28-year-old Claver, who will wear the number 10, signed with Barça Lassa this summer for three seasons.
