FC Barcelona held a training session on Thursday with a number of first team players absent due to international duty.

As a result, the available first team players trained alongside Barça B and the session was overseen by the reserve team boss Gerard Lopez.

After the workout, those who do not have international commitments will enjoy a three-day break and will return to work on Monday in order to begin preparations for next Saturday’s league match against Alaves at the Camp Nou.

Barça B meanwhile will take on Villarreal B for Week 3 of their campaign this Saturday at 7.00pm CET at the Miniestadi.
