FC Barcelona Museum preparing for 30 millionth visitor

The Club expects the milestone to be reached in the coming days; the lucky winner will receive exclusive prizes

The FC Barcelona Museum is about to receive its 30 millionth visitor after receiving 1.9 million visitors so far in the 201/16 season. The museum has become an iconic part of Barça, and to celebrate this milestone. beginning on 18 November visitors will find a button by the entrance of the museum and will press it to see if they are the visitor number 30 million.

Whoever it is, they will benefit fom prizes such as a special visit to the Tour Experience, a private tour of the first team dressing room, a shirt signed by all the players, and an opportunity to hold the European Cup trophy, amongst other surprises. The museum charts the 117-year long history of the Club with historical artifacts and a collection of main trophies exhibited in an interactive way.

The museum was inaugurated on 24 September 1984 and from this point the number of visitors has increased consistently. The first year it had 19,432 guests and a year later it had jumped to 133,052 . The museum has evolved constantly and become more interactive. The number of visitors exploded when the museum and stadium tour were joined into one package, reaching 1.7 million mark last year.
