BNN Technology presented in Beijing as regional sponsor of FC Barcelona for the next three seasons

The London-listed Chinese technology, content and services company through NewNet and mobile application Xinhua’s News, will offer exclusive information about Barça and youth football camps in China

FC Barcelona and BNN Technology have announced on Monday, in an event which took place in Beijing, a partnership agreement through which the London-listed Chinese technology, content and services company becomes a Regional Sponsor of the Club for the next three seasons. The press announcement in Beijing was attended by Xavier Asensi, FCB Managing Director of Asia Pacific; and Darren Mercer, Chief Executive of BNN Technology; and former Barça players Gaizka Mendieta was also invited to interact with FCB official fan club Gran Muralla Xina  in the event..

In this new regional agreement, BNN Technology will exclusively distribute FC Barcelona content through NewNet via the sporting section of the mobile application Xinhua’s News, which will include news about the Club, as well as access to participate in competitions and games.

The Chinese company will also run a series of football camps each season in China, where over 300 young Chinese amateur football players will be trained by fully qualified FCB coaches to hone technique, tactical awareness and fitness following the FCB methodology. One of these camps will be held in Barcelona. As part of the agreement, BNN Technology will take a group of participants to a match at FCB facilities.

The participants in the football camps, as well as friends, family members and fans can be registered to access both the content and related information on the Xinhua News app. The content will be published in early 2017.
