Shortly after a two-legged affair in the Copa del Rey, FC Barcelona and Athletic Club will again go head-to-head but this time in La Liga on 4 February, 4.15pm CET kick-off.

January will be a busy month for Barça, as it begins with a trip San Mamés to face Athletic in the first leg of their last-16 cup tie before a tough visit to El Madrigal to take on Villarreal in the league.

Then there will be two home games in a week: the return leg against Athletic in midweek before the visit of Las Palmas in La Liga.

Then there will be trips to Eibar and Betis to finish the first month of 2017 before Luis Enrique’s side face the Basques once again.
