FC Barcelona back at training in preparation for Copa del Rey first leg at Real Sociedad

All available first team members beat the cold at the Ciutat Esportiva to train for Anoeta trip following two days of well-deserved rest

FC Barcelona were back at work on Tuesday morning after taking a two-break following the impressive 5-0 rout of Las Palmas.

But with a Copa del Rey trip to Real Sociedad to come on Thursday, it was back down to the nitty-gritty at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, where the temperatures have taken a dip as the cold front that’s sweeping across Europe arrives in Catalonia. More northern climes may be enduring much chillier conditions than Barcelona, but 7ºC is mightily cold for this part of the world.

One man who was missing for the session is Brazilian midfielder Rafinha Alcántara, who has pulled a hamstring muscle and will be unavailable for the 9.15pm CET kick-off in San Sebastián. Luis Enrique called on the services of reserve team members Carbonell, Kaptoum and Mujica to boost the numbers.
