The flying full-back talks about the team's current situation and says that they are all fully behind manager Luis Enrique
During an event at his football school in his native Hospitalet, Jordi Alba spoke about the team’s current situation, where he reiterated his belief that FC Barcelona are still alive in the title race.
In regard to recent disappointing results, the full-back said that “when we lose, as when we win, it is the responsibility of everyone”.
Alba noted that “there is still plenty of La Liga to play but we cannot slip up any more. We are alive and we are confident that, if we do things well, we will have the chance to win it”.
“Even though we are not solely dependent on ourselves, we are dependent on winning every game.”
“Luis Enrique has given us three magnificent years here, we will fight to the death for him. He is the best manager Barça could have. Personally, he has helped me a lot, I have improved in many ways with him.”
Finally, on the return leg against PSG, he said “we are capable of anything, to fight for everything.”
“We know it is difficult to turn it around but it all depends on how we start. If we can score one or two goals quickly, it will be important.”
