FC Barcelona is ready to take on PSG in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16. The first team travelled to Paris on Monday morning and in the evening they trained at the Parc des Princes, where they will face the French champions on Tuesday at 8.45pm CET.

Following André Gomes and Luis Enrique’s press conferences the available squad and Barça B’s Nili and Aleñá took part in their final workout before the crucial Champions League knockout game. The two academy players have travelled with the first team before this season having gone to Manchester as part of the squad that took on Manchester City in the group stage and they were called on again following injuries to Arda, Mascherano and Aleix Vidal.

The Asturian coach made the most of the session to put the finishing touches to his game plan ahead of the first leg with the blaugranas looking to get a positive result which will ease the pressure ahead of the return leg.

The last two times Barça have travelled to PSG in the first leg of the UCL knockout stages they have come out with a 2-2 draw in 2013/14 and a fantastic 3-1 victory in 2014/15. Both these games were in the quarter finals and now the Catalans will look to get another positive result in the round of 16.
