Leo Messi and Gerard Piqué return against Sevilla

After sitting out the game against Granada, the duo return for the Wednesday 7.30pm CET kick-off at Camp Nou, with Carles Aleñà of the reserves also included in the squad after making his league debut on Sunday

The FC Barcelona squad has been announced for Wednesday’s high-profile Liga encounter at the Camp Nou against Sevilla (7.30pm CET).

Leo Messi returns after being suspended against Granada (and also for Argentina’s game with Bolivia), manager Luis Enrique having looked on the positive side of that circumstance by saying that “the rest will have done him good.”

Gerard Piqué is also back after being rested for the trip to Los Cármenes, but Rafinha’s name has been added to an injury list that already included Aleix Vidal and Arda Turan.

Jordi Masip and Jérémy Mathieu are the only unforced absences, with Carles Aleñá of Barça B back in the squad after making his Liga debut against Granada.

The full squad therefore reads as follows: Ter Stegen, Cillessen, Piqué, Rakitic, Sergio, Denis Suárez, Iniesta, Luis Suárez, Messi, Neymar, Mascherano, Paco Alcácer, Jordi Alba, Digne, Sergi Roberto, André Gomes, Umtiti and Aleñá
