Famous FC Barcelona celebrations at the Santiago Bernabéu
The 6-2 and 4-0 wins stand out as the two most famous occasions for the blaugrana on rival territory in recent years
FC Barcelona take on Real Madrid on Sunday, looking to continue their good form at the Santiago Bernabéu in order to go level on points with their rivals.
Of the last 13 visits to Real Madrid’s ground, Barça have won seven, drawn three and lost just three, and among those victories have come some of the most iconic images of recent times.
In the famous 6-2 win in 2009, there was Carles Puyol’s famous kiss of the captain’s armband and Gerard Piqué’s stretch of the shirt as he celebrated the final goal of the game.
Then there was the recent 4-0 win, we saw iconic celebrations from Luis Suárez and Andrés Iniesta, and the latter was also a protagonist in the 4-3 away win in 2014.
Some celebrations will forever remain ingrained in the memory of football fans, and especially in the big games. The kids from the FCBEscola recently took the opportunity to emulate their idols in the International Tournament that was held over the Easter week, which can be seen in the video below.
