Barça Lassa fell at the semi-final stage of the Euroleague in cruel fashion as Oliveirense snatched a goal in the second half of extra-time for a 1-0 win.
In what was a tense affair from start to finish, without either side dominating, Barça managed to maintain a healthy amount of possession and tried their luck from distance.
Through Marc Gual in particular, Barça tried to break down the opposition defence but Oliveirense stood firm. The clearest chance for Barça came for Xavi Barroso who was unable to dispatch a penalty after a great bit of work from Lucas Ordoñez.
With the score deadlocked, the game went to extra-time. The game was eventually decided through a long-distance strike from Barreiros to break Barça hearts.
