U.S. bound Barça touches down in Newark!

The blaugrana expedition left Barcelona on Wednesday evening for the New York metropolitan area to start their preseason tour; the team landed at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey at 7.37pm EST

FC Barcelona’s preseason tour of the United States began on Wednesday evening as the blaugrana expedition led by the Club President, Josep Maria Bartomeu; First Vice President, Jordi Cardoner; the Vice President for the Sports Area, Jordi Mestre; and other directors left with the squad at 6.30pm CET for the New York metro area.

The plane landed at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey at 7.37pm EST and then the team headed to its hotel.

Earlier in the day, FC Barcelona’s first team completed a morning training session before leaving for Barcelona–El Prat airport. The session gave Nélson Semedo the chance to train with his teammates for the first time.

On Thursday, Barça will begin taking part in sporting and institutional events in the New York metropolitan area.
