Ernesto Valverde and the squad have arrived in the American capital from New York ahead of their clash with Manchester United
The FC Barcelona squad have arrived in Washington DC. The 26 players, along with coach Ernesto Valverde and his staff, landed at Ronald Reagan Airport in the American capital at 12.45pm* having left New York at 11.30am*. They will in the city for two nights and face Manchester United on Wednesday 26 July at 7.35pm* in their second match of the tour.
It’s not just a series of friendly matches, lest we forget, as Barça are in the United States competing in the International Champions Cup. They started off with a 2-1 win over Juventus on Saturday night in the Big Apple ahead of this clash with Manchester United at the FedExField. They will round off the trip with a clash with Real Madrid in Miami on Saturday 29 July at 8.05pm*.
