Training for the players that didn't travel to Murcia
Ter Stegen, Sergio, Iniesta, Suárez, Messi, Paulinho and Umtiti, who were rested for Tuesday's cup tie, are joined by goalkeeper Ortolá on Wednesday at the Ciutat Esportiva
Wednesday was a normal training day for Ernesto Valverde but the group of players joining him were only those not involved in the Copa del Reyvictory in Murcia the night before.
Ter Stegen, Sergio Busquets, Andrés Iniesta, Luis Suárez, Leo Messi, Paulinho and Samuel Umtiti have all been enjoying a three-day break to recharge their batteries following a heavy workload in the opening weeks of the new season both for club and country.
The seven first teamers were joined at the Ciutat Esportiva by Adria Ortolá of Barça B, who did travel south for the 3-0 win at the Nueva Condomina.
Jordi Alba was also back at the training ground as he continues he recovery from a right thigh injury.
The full team will be back together for the 11.00am CET training session as preparations continue for the weekend trip to the home of Athletic Club Bilbao, San Mamés, and also to a club where Valverde spent some of the most important years of his life.
