Vendrell - FC Barcelona Lassa: Hard-fought win makes it 9 out of 9 (0-5)

The Blaugrana continue their winning start to the season at the home of a rival that defended well throughout

The Roller Hockey team are still unbeaten at the start of the domestic competition. Asturhockey (1-9), Arenys de Munt (7-1) and, this Saturday, El Vendrell (0-5) are the rivals that Eduard Castro's men have defeated. On Saturday, Barça Lassa had to work throughout the game and match the physicality of their opponents, Pablo Alvarez (2), Alabart, Bargalló and Lucas Ordoñez scoring the goals that won the game.

Pau Bargalló found the net after a swift counter-attack for his first goal of the season in the League, whilst the second was scored by new signing, Ignasi Alabart, as Barça Lassa started to dominate. The team still had keeper Aitor Egurrola to thank for keeping El Vendrell scoreless.

In the opening minutes of the second half the hosts missed a penalty, and they were made to pay as Pablo Álvarez swiftly increased the lead. More pressure and counter-attacking play eventually saw Lucas Ordóñez finishing off Pau Bargalló’s assist after a great move, and a minute from the end Sant Sadurní supplied Pablo Álvarez with his second to complete the scoring.
