Both players, together with Piqué and Busquets, start against Costa Rica (5-0). Also, Leo Messi and Mascherano play full 90 minutes in Argentina's win against Russia (0-1)

The Spanish national team comfortably beat Costa Rica (5-0) in a friendly at La Rosaleda. Jordi Alba, Gerard Piqué, Sergio Busquets and Andrés Iniesta were the four blaugranas in Lopetegui’s squad and they all started the match.

Piqué played the opening 45 minutes and was secure at the back. He also had a couple of chances up front as he got on the end of some dead-ball deliveries.

Sergio also played the first half and led from central midfield and he built play well. Iniesta also controlled the game from the middle of the park and he also managed to get on the scoreboard with Spain’s fifth of the match with a great shot from the edge of the box before being substituted in the 74th minute.

Finally, Jordi Alba was the only Barça player who played all 90 minutes and he opened the scoring in the sixth minute. Morata got the second and Silva, with a brace, the third and the fourth before Iniesta got the last.

Also, Argentina beat Russia 1-0 in a friendly in Moscow in Saturday. The match saw both Leo Messi and Javier Mascherano start and play the full ninety. Mascherano was very sure in defence and Barça’s number ‘10’ was one of the most active in attack. Sampaoli’s side secured their win thanks to a Sergio Agüero goal from a rebound in the 86th minute following a good move involving Messi and Pavón.
