FC Barcelona Lassa – Citylift Girona: Second half comeback at the Palau (4-3)

Barça fight back from 1-3 down at home with Xaci Barroso giving them the victory in the very last minute

A comeback was needed at the Palau Blaugrana for FC Barcelona Lassa roller hockey side in the sixth game of the OK league season. Edu Castro’s side had to work hard, coming back from 0-2 down, then 1-3 down to take a 4-3 win over Citylift Girona. Goals from Pablo Álvarez, Lucas Ordoñez, Matias Pascual and Xavi Barroso gave the blaugranes the victory with the winner coming in the last minute.

Barça were up against it form the start with two goals from Raúl Pelicano giving the visitors a 0-2 lead at half time. However, the blaugranes never gave up and first a goal from Pablo Álvarez got them back into the game before Marc Palau restored Girona’s two goal lead from the penalty spot.

Edu Castro’s team picked themselves up and first Lucas Ordoñez and then Matias Pascual found the net to bring the scores level. Just when it looked as through the game was heading for a draw, Xavi Barroso pounced on a rebound to give the home side a deserved 4-3 win. Barça Lassa remain joint top of the OK League with Liceo on 18 points who they face on Saturday at the Palau Blaugrana.
