The last few international players from the FC Barcelona first team have rejoined training this Thursday at the Ciutat Esportiva. Ter Stegen, Semedo, Piqué, Sergio, Iniesta, Cillessen, Paulinho, Jordi Alba, Umtiti, Digne and Vermaelen all trained for the first time since their return after the recent break in La Liga for international matches.
Ernesto Valverde had all his available players at his disposal for the first time this week in preparation for the away game this Saturday at Leganés. Also present at the session were Barça B squad members Carles Aleñá and Jose Arnaiz. During the session Nélson Semedo was initially the focus of interest due to the fact that it was his birthday.
On Friday the team will train at 5.00pm CET before leaving for Madrid for the clash against Leganés. Before the session, coach Ernesto Valverde will appear before the press to give his thoughts on the trip to the Butarque stadium on Saturday.
