A conversation with the new signing of FC Barcelona, to learn more about the Colombian central defender who arrives from Brazilian football
Yerry Mina has experienced his first few days in the city after joining FC Barcelona. He signed his contract, has been officially presented, been inside the Camp Nou and has completed his first training session with the rest of the group. It's been a very intense time for the Colombian central defender but in spite of everything, his first impressions were that he was “very happy and grateful, motivated and proud."
"Never before had I been in Barcelona and, for now, I'm in love with everything I see. I am calm, but I know that I have a great responsibility, because Barça is the best club in the world. I want to contribute and learn from my colleagues. I am fulfilling a dream," he explained in a somewhat peculiar interview on the day of his presentation.
Mina’s personal side
In the interview, Mina also spoke about the person away from the football pitch, so we can get to know him more thoroughly. He’s known as "a happy but calm person" who likes to share his life with the people he loves. Hear about his hobbies, the music he likes to hear, his superstitions, his favourite food and his idols, among other things.
He also has a Foundation with which he hopes "to help many children and to ensure that, in their free time, they don’t follow the wrong path.” All of this and more can be watched in the video. Don’t miss it!
