Barça Lassa spent most of Thursday night leading Maccabi Tel Aviv, but was unable to leave with a victory, falling to the Israelis, 94–82 in Euroleague action.
It was Barça Lassa's first game under new head coach Alfred Julbe, who took over the reins earlier this week, and the team responded by coming out strong in the early going, only to eventually lose to Maccabi.
Barça was led by Thomas Heurtel, who racked up a double–double with 18-points and 10 assists. Adam Hanga added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the losing effort. Ante Tomic also had five rebounds to go with 14 points.
Pierre Jackson scored 18 points to pace Maccabi.
Barça Lassa's next game comes on Sunday at the Palau Blaugrana against Bilbao Basket. Tip-off is at 12:30pm CET.
