The Teatro de la Vila theatre in Palau Solità i Plegamans hosted the 25th edition of the Concurso de Nadales Josep Mas awards last week, rub by the Peña Barcelonista de Palau Solità i Plegamans.
In attendance were the likes of Paco Martínez, a former FC Barcelona player; Joan Casals, the ‘Avi del Barça’; Ramon Burniol; artist Núria Feliu; Xavier Ilincheta, director of the supporters group committee; Jordi Fargas, a TV3 journalist; and Miquel Rovira, sports minister. This year’s presenter was famous dancer David Gutiérrez.
The winners of the awards were Nerea Tarifa (1st prize), Iris Alsina (2nd prize) and Laia Sampera (3rd prize).
After the awards were given, there was a raffle for two footballs, an FC Barcelona shirt signed by Andrés Iniesta and various other gifts. Of note was the work of Angelines and Don Paco, who were presented with a plaque by president Vicente Aixàs in recognition of their great efforts over the past 25 years. There was also a plaque for Miquel Rovira, the sport and culture minister of the Palau Solità i Plegamans council.
