The rondo, as it is known, is one of FC Barcelona's most basic training drills. From the Club's youngest pupils to its veteran first team players, and in between, this keep away game is practiced in virtually every workout to help players improve touch, passing, and spatial awareness, and is one of the most evident elements of the Barça playing style.
In the video above, however, the Barça players take the rondo to a whole new level—literally—by keeping the ball totally off the ground throughout the game. The result is an electrifying series of quick touches that defy gravity and beg to be watched over and over again. The only question is, which of the three different rondos do you think is the most impressive?
