Once the 13th edition of the Barça Academy World Cup came to an end, the players and their families returned home to their daily lives. However, the DPLs (local project directors) remained behind in Barcelona to continue their professional development.

The DPLs received training on methods focusing on real life situations with practical sessions involving direct application within the context of the Barça Academy. Furthermore, over the days there were talks from representatives from the Club specialised in the areas of sporting management, strategic vision and talent, as well as talks from figures from outside the Club to help strengthen creativity within the Barça Academy's training. The DPLs took the chance to witness training sessions involving the Club's youth teams and also to see first hand the R+D projects involving the Barça Escola.

Days on the Costa Brava

Taking advantage of being based on the Costa Brava, the DPLs also took part in fun sessions to build cohesion between the different directors and promote teamwork. A few days of theoretical and practical development that the directors will put into practice at the Barça Academies around the world.
