A point was all Barça Atlètic could take from their trip to face Olot in the Segunda Federación Group Three fixture. A goal from Fariñas from the spot put the blaugranes ahead in the first half but the home side came back to level things up with 12 minutes to go to make the final score 1-1. 

Espart and Tommy back

Without a game for the first team, Juliano Belletti's team were able to call on the talents of Tommy and Xavi Espart, mainstays in the plans of Barça boss Hansi Flick. Under incessant rain in Olot, the blaugranes won penalty early on when Alexis Olmedo was brought down in the box on his 50th appearance for Barça Atlètic.

Fariñas puts Barça ahead

Brian Fariñas took responsibility in the 14th minute and stroked home the penalty to put Barça ahead. Olot had chances to level things up before the break but Rubén and Marc Mas both failed to find the net. After half time the rain eased off in the second half and the visitors had chances to extend their lead through Barberà and Juan. Unfortunately, neither was taken, a fact that Belletti's side would come to regret. 

Martí Soler levels it up 

Olot kept pressing and on 78 minutes a cross and Salvans was nodded down by Mas and Martí Soler beat keeper Kochen from close range. Belletti turned to his bench for a late winner but none was forthcoming as the blaurganes had to be happy with a point. The draw, along with defeat for Reus, means the two sides are level on points in the hunt for the final play off spot with just two games in the league season remaining.
