They are the talk of the town at the Barça Academy Hiroshima. Aged 10, 9 and 7 years old respectively, Iroha, Renoha and Kanoha only joined about a year ago, but coaches and teammates alike are already very fond of them. The three sisters are crazy about football and are known for always wanting to improve, for their teamwork and for their humility on and off the pitch. They show their commitment to the team each day and embody how the Club's values go beyond the pitch.

Putting in the kilometres

Their story of course involves huge commitment by their family to help them fulfil their dreams. The three sisters train two days a week and at different Academy locations to boot, meaning significant effort in terms of travelling and family logistics. The training pitches are almost two hours by car from their home, but that has never proved a barrier to keep training with desire and consistency. This effort shows their passion for football and the family's confidence in the Barça Academy educational and sporting project.

Renoha has gained most competitive experience so far with Barça Academy Hiroshima teams. One of the most special moments came in the Japan Cup 2025 played in Nara, when she was in the Academy U-10 team. The tournament proved very successful for her side, as they were champions after a great team performance, an experience that only served to motivate her more and strengthen the bond with football.

Her journey with the Barça Academy Hiroshima U-10s will continue soon, as she will travel to Barcelona to participate in the Barça Academy World Cup 2026. The tournament will be a great opportunity to keep learning, compete with international teams and experience the FC Barcelona youth football experience first-hand.

Female talent continues to develop

The story of Iroha, Renoha and Kanoha shows women's football is constantly developing in Japan and within the Barça Academy, and that when the family share a passion for football, the experience can become even more special.

This sentiment has helped them progress with their teams and take on new challenges in the Barça Academy, becoming a reference for their teammates.
