The Barça basketball team overcame Río Breogán 109-78 away from home in the league to put behind their recent run of poor form. With Cale in top class form, the blaugranes dominated from start to finish in Lugo.

Barça started the game like a team with a point to prove. Clyburn racked up 13 points in the first quarter, the performance of a man trying to erase the memory of the defeat against Milan in the Euroleague. His contribution allowed the blaugranes to end the first quarter with a 27-13 lead.

In the second period Xavi Pascual's team continued to lay waste to their Galician opponents, a run of 16 points with just 2 against further stretched their lead. Cale and Parra helped offensively as the half time buzzer came with Barça leading by 26 at 57-31.

In the final quarter Juani Marcos appeared as did 16 year old Nikola Kusturica. Río Breogán came back to give the scoreline a hint of respectability but could not prevent Cale from notching 24 points in Barça's 109-78 win. 

The blaugranes are next in action in the Euroleague against Hapoel on Friday 13 March at the Palau Blaugrana.
