CUPRA has brought a next-generation driving experience to the Ciutat Esportiva with an exclusive test drive of the CUPRA Raval, the car that channels all the brand’s dynamics and expressive design into its first Urban Electric Vehicle.

First-team players Frenkie de Jong, Pedri, Ferran Torres, Roony Bardghji and Alejandro Balde had the opportunity to test the car on a circuit around the club’s facilities, discovering its striking design and innovative features.

After the test drive, Lamine Yamal immersed himself in the universe of the CUPRA Raval, exploring every detail of a model that matches his energy and determination. Barça’s number 10 also took part in a photoshoot with the vehicle.

“CUPRA and FC Barcelona share a commitment to empowering the next generation, both on the pitch and on the road,” said Ignasi Prieto, Chief Brand Officer of CUPRA. “The CUPRA Raval embodies this vision: it is destined to shape the future of electric mobility. FC Barcelona’s talents had the opportunity to get behind the wheel, experience first-hand the excitement the car delivers and share their impressions with us.”

A next-generation car test

The first-team players tested a camouflaged version of the CUPRA Raval VZ. Featuring Dinamica-trimmed bucket seats and 19-inch copper-coloured alloy wheels, this 100% electric, 4-metre-long vehicle offers a dynamic and captivating driving experience that redefines the possibilities of electric cars. Bringing together the world of urban mobility and the excellence of FC Barcelona, CUPRA and Barça share the ambition to inspire a new generation eager to challenge the status quo.

From acceleration, power and cornering to braking performance, grip and passenger comfort, the Barça players explored the key aspects of a car designed with the drivers of the future in mind. All of them shared extremely positive feedback on the vehicle’s dynamics. They highlighted the Sport Mode, instant acceleration and confidence through corners as standout features, along with the impact of the camouflaged design.

The CUPRA Raval will celebrate its world premiere on April 9 and it will be available in different versions with a wide range of customization options, giving every driver the opportunity to express their own “Raval Spirit” and adapt it to their lifestyle. Whether they are looking for more power, a higher-capacity battery to extend range, or a balance between the two, there will be a configuration designed to meet every need.
