First game of 2026 for the blaugranes and first win as they took a 5-2 win away from home at Adiss Hockey Rivas, a victory that allows Ricard Ares' team to end the first half of the league season as leaders of the OK League, level on points with Igualada. 

Dominant from the start 

After two weeks without a game, Ricard Ares' team were quickly back into the swing of things with Ferran Font and then Eloi Cervera giving them a 2-0 lead with 16 minutes gone. Rivas did not fold under the pressure and they pulled one back through Sergio Martín. Nevertheless, Barça quickly re-established their tow goal lead with a long distance strike from Sergi Aragonés. 

Rivas pressure but win for Barça

In the second half Marc Grau made it 4-1 on 32 minutes and victory seemed assured for the blaugranes. Sergio Martín's goal for Rivas threatened to make a game of it but another from Grau just before the end secured a 5-2 win for Barça in their first game of 2026.
