The FC Barcelona Foundation is one of the key partners of the European project European All Are Champions League (EACL), an initiative funded by the Erasmus+ Sport programme of the European Union aimed at promoting the social inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities (PwID) through football.

Over 18 months, the project has worked to create safe, accessible and motivating sports environments, equipping coaches, clubs, educators and families with practical tools to develop inclusive football activities. In this context, the Barça Foundation has contributed its experience and leadership in using sport as a tool for social transformation, actively participating in the design, development and validation of innovative resources.

One of the main outcomes of the project has been the development of the International Football Manual for Inclusion, along with its Easy-to-Read version, created with the direct participation of people with intellectual disabilities. These materials provide clear guidelines for adapting training sessions, rules and competitions, encouraging active participation, well-being and personal development.

During the pilot phase, the manuals were implemented in real environments in Spain, Croatia and Greece, with very positive results for both participants and professionals. The accumulated experience has also supported the creation of a sustainability strategy and policy recommendations, aiming to consolidate inclusive football as a standard practice in the European sports field.
