A visit to Estadi Johan Cruyff is likely to see FC Barcelona fans leaving very happy so far this season. Four teams – including the men's football first team – have played their competitive games at the stadium and all 11 matches have ended in a Barça victory.
Two big wins for Flick's Barça in LaLiga
Following on from the big win against Como in the Joan Gamper Trophy, the blaugranes played their first two home games at the Estadi. It went very well, with two big wins, the first a 6-0 against Valencia, before a 3-0 over Getafe. Nine goals scored and none conceded in 180 minutes of football.
Barça Women strong in both Liga F and the Champions League
It may be considered somewhat the norm now, but Barça Women continue fire in the goals, with 21 scored in four matches, while conceding only one. The wins came against Alhama (8-0), DUX Logroño (4-0), and the derby match against Espanyol (2-0) in the Liga F, plus the opening Champions League fixture against Bayern, running out 7-1 winners.
Home is where the heart is for leaders Barça Atlètic
Barça Atlètic have also played four Segunda Federación Group 3 games under coach Juliano Belletti at the Estadi Johan Cruyff. Their most recent win saw a 4-2 defeat of Reus FC Reddis. This latest triumph followed the opening day 2-0 win over Porreres, the 4-0 victory over the Castellon development side, and the 2-0 win over Olot (2-0), totalling 12 goals scored and only two against.
Comeback in the Youth League against PSG
Lastly the U-19s also played one game at the stadium in the Youth League. The second match day of the UEFA competition saw Barça host PSG, who went ahead and had a player more after a sending off. However, the blaugranes managed to come back and win (2-1). The eleventh win out of 11, with 44 scored and only four conceded.
20 different scorers
There is a three way tie for the leading scorers from the 20 different players to have found the net so far. Barça Women players Clàudia Pina and Ewa Pajor, plus Barça Atlètic forward Víctor Barberà, have all scored five times. Aitana Bonmatí is next with three, and nine players have scored two (Fermín, Raphinha, Lewandowski, Ferran Torres, Caroline Graham Hansen, Alexia Putellas, Òscar Ureña, Brian Fariñas and Xavi Espart — one for Barça Atlètic and one in the Youth League). The remaining seven who have scored once are Ona Batlle, Kika Nazareth, Brugts, Salma Paralluelo, Toni Fernández, Sama Nomoko and Shane Kluivert.
