Today saw FC Barcelona provide the media with a chance to see the progress being made at the Spotify Camp Nou works through an exclusive visit to some of the key areas of the project.

The members of the media were able to access the Tribune and South Goal sections, part of Phase 1A, as well as the temporary areas for the press until the new facilities are completed during the final phase of the stadium development.

That was followed by a session hosted by Vice president for the Institutional Area and Espai Barça manager Elena Fort, who was accompanied by Director of Operations and Espai Barça Joan Sentelles. During her speech, Fort underlined the transparency exercise undertaken by the Club since the start of the project, and pointed to the current status of the facility as evidence that Phase 1A of the Spotify Camp Nou is complete and in conditions to host football matches with full guarantees.

She went on to explain that the Club has already submitted all the standard documentation relating to notification of first occupation, as well as the responses to the observations made in documents by the Barcelona City Council to date. The process is currently awaiting the granting of the first occupation licence.

The work schedule was also updated as part of the visit, with the "big lift" of the roof scheduled for summer 2027, a process that is expected to take four months.

The visit was an opportunity for FC Barcelona to reinforce their commitment to transparency regarding providing information and to provide a first hand look at the progress of a key project for the future of the Club.
