FC Barcelona and PIMEC sign agreement to establish mutual synergies

FC Barcelona and the Confederation of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises of Catalonia (PIMEC) have signed a collaboration agreement for the next three seasons, with which they will work together to identify, study and analyse possibilities for action and cooperation between their members. This partnership was made possible thanks to a series of common values, with the aim of generating joint synergies between the football club and the employers' association for the development of their respective strategic projects.

The agreement was made official last Friday 8 March at a meeting in the box at the Estadi Olimpic Lluís Companys in the build-up to the game with Mallorca, which was attended by Joan Laporta, president of FC Barcelona, Elena Fort, vice president of FC Barcelona, Miquel Camps, member of the FC Barcelona Board of Directors and deputy president of PIMEC, and Antoni Cañete, president of PIMEC. After signing the agreement, Laporta presented his counterpart from the employer's association with an official shirt for the 2023/24 season.

Through this collaboration, FC Barcelona and PIMEC will promote a series of programmes and activities to promote diversity, inclusion, equality and non-discrimination. They will also engage information, training and education actions on relevant topics linked to labour relations and corporate social responsibility, as well as in the field of excellence in managerial and economic sustainability, in everything related to the digital transformation and the possibility of extending the range of products and services offered by both entities, among others.
