Barça pulled out all the stops to battle back from what seemed an unsurmountable lead for Voltregà and take the full set of points thanked to a total turnaround in the second half.

Barça had gone all out in the attack from the start, but couldn't scored and were instead stunned twice in a minute and then conceded a controversial third shortly before the interval.

The home side had already shown in the Continental Cup that they are a force to be reckoned with but all the same Barça did not deserve to be trailing by such a wide margin. Hope was restored when Marc Grau slammed in from long range just before the break, and then they had a potential second disallowed. Voltrega were leading, but Barça had issued a severe warning.

Indeed, a fabulous goal from Pau Bargalló was followed by a second for Grau and Barça were back level. Joao Rodrigues then scored from the penalty spot and the same man had a fifth that had Barça two goals up in a game that, just moments before, they looked likely to lose.

It was a remarkable turnaround, and even the penalty converted by the home side did nothing to prevent Barça from collecting a thoroughly well-earned victory.
