The FC Barcelona Board of Directors have agreed a 50% reduction in the prices of passes for next season, 2023/24, at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in relation to the prices originally announced, said institutional vice president Elena Fort in a press conference to discuss the topic on the table at Thursday's board meeting.
The main agreement was the approval of a 50% reduction in prices that were announced at the beginning of May for season passes for Montjuïc. As such, the prices now stand at: Main Stand (€870), Lateral Stand (€500), Corner (€450) and Goal (€360), prices that reflect a 25% reduction on current rates at Spotify Camp Nou.
According to the blaugrana vice president, "since we set the initial prices, that responded to financial requirements after a difficult year, the Club proposed working towards the possibility of readjusting the prices." Elena Fort said that the Club has listened to its members who have expressed their disagreement with the prices established at a difficult time and with the inconveniences that the move to the Estadi Olímpic de Montjuïc brings.
Recognising the efforts of members and fans
The Club understands the efforts they are asking of members and fans and they wish to recognise those efforts by readjusting prices, which means the Club will have to make up the estimated losses that this fall in income brings via new methods of income on which the Club is already working.
New application period
With the reduction in prices, the previous process of purchase for Barça first team passes for 2023/24 is now invalid and a new process will start next week with the new prices established by the Board of Directors.
All those requests that have been made will now be cancelled and a new purchase request must be made from 30 May. From that day a new pre-sale period of 48 hours will begin for those members with season tickets who have attended 85% of games at Spotify Camp Nou in the 2022/23 season as well as those who had already requested a season pass in the initial phase.
Once the exclusive period is up, on Thursday 1 June, the passes for Montjuïc will go on sale to the rest of the season ticket holders at the prices established.
The new process does not bring with it any changes in operation for next season at the Estadi Lluís Companys; passes are by area, without fixed seats and attendance is to be confirmed before each game without Seient Lliure and child or senior passports and tickets.
