‘Barça, The Exhibition’ travels to Latin America for the first time and premieres in Monterrey

Travelling expo on show in the Mexican city from September14 to November 6, offering interactive experiences including a recreation of match day at the Spotify Camp Nou

Barça, The Exhibition has landed for the first time in Latin America, in the Mexican city of Monterrey, where FC Barcelona fans can enjoy the travelling exhibition between September 14 and November 6 at the Espacio Alterno Esfera Monterrey. With the aim of bringing the club closer to its fans around the world, Barça is combining a series of interactive experiences with the use of the most advanced immersive technology so visitors can enjoy a unique journey through Barça history and even to the Spotify Camp Nou and feel the excitement of a match day at the stadium.

The traveling exhibition made its world premiere in Tel Aviv in July 2021, the year it also visited Dubai. It was well received and many visitors came to each of the two displays. Its arrival in Mexico was planned for early 2021, but it had to be postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic in the area. Now, by the hand of Plan B, an international promoter with extensive experience in the Mexican market, a new stage begins in which Barça, The Exhibition will tour Monterrey, Guadalajara and Mexico City. This will be the first stop of a tour oft several countries on the American continent.

Nine rooms to enjoy a unique experience

Barça, The Exhibition, produced by FC Barcelona in collaboration with the international events and entertainment company Proactiv, is an experience designed using the most advanced technologies to attract, amuse and amaze football fans. Across nine rooms, the visitor will be able to take an audio-guided tour that features a conversation between a grandfather and his grandson discussing the team's sporting exploits, describing their style of play and experience first-hand the excitement of being on the pitch inside the stadium, all thanks to a 360º virtual recreation.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy interactive games n the Play Barça area and explore the Making History section, the hall of fame where they can admire team and individual trophies, as well as items used and signed by different Barça legends. This space was created in association with the Barça Museum.

La Masia, the training center in club's play and values, will also have its own space. Thanks to the technology used, visitors will truly get to feel part of the club's history, while in other rooms they will be able to learn more about the style of play that distinguishes Barça all over the world.

Finally, a futuristic space will showcase the club's programs in the field of R&D, including the Barça Innovation Hub (BIHUB), a knowledge platform and sports innovation laboratory aimed at boosting athletic performance and creating products and services that benefit not only the club, but also society in general. Likewise, the exhibition will have an official Barça Store, with a wide range of branded products and retail items, as well as exclusive collections.
