Catalonian and Italian sides to meet on July 26 in Dallas

This pre-season will see Barça play Juventus in the U.S.A. on July 26. It is one of the four games that Xavi and the squad are scheduled to play on their United States of America tour, with Inter Miami, Real Madrid, and New York Red Bulls their other opponents.

The venue

The game is to be played in Dallas in the state of Texas. Barça have only played in the city once before. It was on August 6, 2011, for a friendly game against Club América de México, with Barça winning 0-2 after goals by Villa and Keita. The venue was the Cowboys Stadium (now called the AT&T Stadium).

The upcoming game between Barça and Juventus will be played in the Cotton Bowl, which has a capacity of 92,100 spectators

Past friendlies against Juventus

FC Barcelona and Juventus have already played six friendly games. Most of them have been in recent times, as only the 3-2 and 1-0 from the summer of 1969 in New York and Chicago respectively came pre-2000.

The 2003 pre-season saw Juve and Barça draw (2-2) in Boston, while summer 2017 saw the Catalonians defeat the Italians by 2-1 in the Met Life stadium in New Jersey.

The only games outside of the United States of America were for the Joan Gamper Trophy in 2005 and 2021, ending 2-2 and 3-0 respectively.

This was a historic day as both the men's and women's first teams played the Gamper trophy for the first time and on the same day against the Juventus men's and women's first teams.
