Barça are through to Sunday’s final of the Copa del Rey after winning 2-1 against Noia Freixenet in the semi-finals thanks to a Pau Bargalló brace, the second of which came just nine seconds from the end.
Just as the first half was about to end scoreless, Aleix Esteller had nabbed a goal for Noia, and after Helder Nunes had missed a penalty, two minutes later justice was done when Bargalló scored a cheekily brilliant equaliser.
The intense remainder of the game saw Noia have a decent chance or two to nab a winner, but just when it looked like we were heading for overtime Bargalló scored the goal that sends the blaugrana into tomorrow’s final at the Pavelló Onze de Setembre at 3.00pm CEST against an opponent that has yet to be decided.
