To help get the players back into their rhythm, and especially those who haven’t been playing games for their countries, the first team and Barça B came together on a damp Wednesday morning for a practice match on pitch 2 at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

The teams were mixed for a game played 20 minutes each way, with both Xavi Hernández and Sergi Barjuan watching on from the side-lines.

The squad included the Spanish internationals, fresh back from La Coruña where they had helped to dismantle Iceland 5-0.

The team will train again on Friday morning at 11.00am CEST at the same venue.
