Barça have won a brilliant game at Noia to consolidate their position at the top of the table. It was a peculiar game with a lot of interruptions early on and then a flurry of goals in the second half, when Barça looked to home and dry but two late goals from the home side spelt an unexpectedly nervy finish.

It was a dramatic climax to a game that has started very feistily, with plenty of cards being brandished before Pau Bargalló finally opened the scoring.

The second half began with the focus more on the hockey and less on the niggles, with Nil Roca extending the blaugrana lead before Noia hit back with two of their own.

Sergi Llorca, Helder Nunes and then Matías Pascual built up a three-point cushion, but as Edu Castro has warned before the game, Noia are a side that never give up. They pulled two goals out of the bag and set up a dramatic climax, but Barça held on for the full set of points.
