Levnate 1-4 Barça: Another game, another win

Barça Women are unstoppable at the moment. Even when they do not get off to the best of starts in games as was the case away at Levante. Nevertheless, Jonatan Giráldez's team recorded their 19th consecutive win in the Iberdrola League with goals from Oshoala, Patri, Jennifer Hermoso and Graham Hansen. 

Difficult beginning 

The blaugranes struggled early on to produce their usual flowing football with Jennifer Hermoso uncharacteristically failing to take the chance to give her side the lead form the penalty spot. 

Nevertheless, Barça's confidence grew as the game progressed and Oshoala eventually broke the deadlock in the 25th minute, taking advantage of a mistake from goalkeeper Korenciova. The goal awakened the visitors and before half time Jennifer Hermoso created a goal for Patri and then scored herself to give Barça a 3-0 lead at the break. 

Closing out win number 19 

In the second half Barça restated their dominance when Graham Hanse found the net right after the restart. In the second half there was a debut for teenager Martina and flashes of brilliance from Alexia yet Barça were unable to add to their lead. 

Levante pulled one back four minutes from time when Pinto scored but it could do nothing to prevent the blaugranes claiming win number 19 in the league.
