The squad continues to train with a view to the first Liga match of 2022 against Mallorca on January 2. The Wednesday session on pitch 2 included Memphis, Ansu and Pedri, who joined in some of the group training, while Ferran Torres remains on the sidelines.

Piqué, Araujo, Neto, Coutinho and Dest were missing from training with Xavi's permission.

    O. Dembélé, Umtiti and Gavi were the latest players to miss training on testing positive for COVID-19 during PCR tests on the squad. The players are in good health and self-isolating at home. The Club has reported the cases to the relevant authorities.

    Later, Neto worked out in isolation at noon and in the evening Araujo and Coutinho did so together, while Piqué exercised separately.
