Barçan 8-2 Dobovec: First step towards the Final Four

A victory for Barça in the first of their three games in the Elite Round of the UEFA Futsal Champions League with a dominant 8-2 win over Slovenian side Dobovec. 

Dobovec take early lead 

Slovenians Dobovec struck first in the encounter with Duscak putting them ahead after eight minutes. Chances had come and gone with Adolfo and Ferrao hitting the woodwork early on but it was their opponents who opened the scoring. 

Barça fight back

Nevertheless, it was not long before Jesús Velasco's team were level in the Group C encounter being played in Plzen in the Czech Republic. Ferrao brought the blaugranes the equaliser on 13 minutes after good work by Dídac. The same player added a second and then goals from Pito and Adolfo gave Barça a 4-1 lead at half time. 

The second half followed the same script as the first. Dobovec struck first only for Barça to react once more. Sergio Lozano made it 5-2 and Ferrao completed his hat trick soon after to make it 6-2. Esquerdinha and Coelho rounded off the win for Barça who now face Halle-Gook on Thursday at 5.30pm CET.
