A goal from Fridolina Rolfö in the 63rd minute and an injury time clincher from Jennifer Hermoso split the teams, but it could have been so much more. Barça let their hosts of the hook time and time again, but are heading back from Denmark with three more points in the bag.
The Danes were quick and intense, and potentially dangerous on the counter attack, but it was always Jonatan Giráldez’s side that looked most in control.
But the goal just wouldn’t come and although Jennifer Hermoso, Fridolina Rolfö and Marta Torrejón all had fine chances, the first half ended scoreless.
Mapi León, Aitana and Patri Guijarro entered the fray, and Barça had the home side pegged right back in their own half. Surely it was just a matter of time before they finally found the net?
Rolfö opens at last
When the goal finally came it was Aitana who started the move, with a pinpoint assist from Martens picking out Rolfö to convert a goals that did perfect justice to the way the game had gone.
Koge still couldn’t get out of their own half as Barça pushed hard for the killer blow, and chance after chance went begging in incredible fashion before Hermoso finally added a second with a late penalty.
