Palma Futsal 1-0 Barça: Sergio Lozano back at last

Sergio Lozano made his comeback after eight months out with a knee ligament injury sustained in the Champions League against Pristina. That was the most positive note of Wednesday’s friendly with Palma Futsal, the first of two such games this week. In a game where the goalkeepers and the woodwork looked to be winning the day, Barça eventually succumbed to a goal scored by the home side in the very last minute of the game.

Sergio Lozano delighted to be back

Speaking after the game, the Barça captain said: "I’m so happy to be back, I hadn’t imagined I’d be here today even in my wildest dreams. Now I just have to keep training and, improving and polishing off what I have to.”

“We came here to play face to face at a venue and against a team that have always been hard. The team is improving and the boys have shown that they are always there when called upon.”
