19 new Barça supporters’ clubs made official

The FC Barcelona Board of Directors has granted official status to 19 new supporters’ clubs, consolidating the global nature of this movement. Thus, these new entities become part of the more than 1,250 penyes around the world, becoming new houses for Barcelona fans far from Camp Nou.

More supporters’ clubs in Europe, Asia and America

Most of the new official clubs are international, which attests to the interest that FC Barcelona arouses worldwide. Six new entities join the existing ones in the European continent: Penya Barcelonista Eastbelgium Eupen (Belgium), Penya Blaugrana Stuttgart (Germany), Penya Blaugrana Bucharest and Barça Fan Club Brasov (Romania), Penya Blaugrana di Bologna (Italy) and Penya del Barça Thessaloniki (Greece).

As in Europe, six more official supporters’ clubs are added to those already present in Asia, with the first clubs in South Korea (Penya Barcelonista de Seúl), Bangladesh (Penya Blaugrana Banglabarça de Dhaka), in Kazakhstan (PB Astana) and in Palestinian territory (Palestinian Barça Fans Club in Ramallah), as well as new entities in Iraq (Penya Blaugrana Salah Al Deen) and in India (Penya of Barça Kozhikode).

In addition to the European and Asian penyes, the American continent also welcomes two new supporters’ clubs, the Penya Barcelonista de Estelí (Nicaragua) and the Penya Blaugrana Las Vegas (USA). Africa adds a new Blaugrana entity with Cotonou's Penya Blaugrana, the first one in Benin.

Catalonia and Valencia

Four new clubs also join the Blaugrana family in state territory. The Penya Barcelonista Front 532, is added to the clubs of Barcelona city and the Penya Barcelonista Gruppen 1899 has its headquarters in Sant Joan Despí. In addition, the Penya Blaugrana d’Anglès (Girona) and the Peña Barcelonista de Mislata (Valencia) will also be part of the blaugrana family.
