First session in Portland

Barça Women have trained for the first time in Portland on Monday afternoon local time. The venue was the Nike World Campus, a place the squad know well from their US tour back in 2018. The session was the first in preparation for their International Champions Cup semi-final against Olympique Lyonnais which kicks off at 5.35pm local time on Wednesday. 

Lieke Martens has joined up with the squad in the US after having taken part in the recent Olympic Games and Andrea Pereira, who started preseason with a knee problem, has now begun to train with the rest of the squad. 

The next session for Jonatan Giráldez's team will be on Tuesday afternoon at the venue for the meeting with the French side, the Providence Park stadium.
