The next step for Barça's players in the European Championship

All the teams with FC Barcelona representation have qualified for the Round of 16

Frenkie de Jong, Memphis Depay, Jordi Alba, Pedri, Eric García, Busquets, Braithwaite, Griezmann and Lenglet have all qualified with their respective countries for the European Championship Round of 16.

Next, we review the path of the teams with FC Barcelona representation in the tournament, in terms of what they've done before reaching the Round of 16 and who are the next opponents they'll face.

Holland: Frenkie de Jong and Memphis Depay 

Three wins in three games. The perfect group stage for the Dutch team, with Frenkie de Jong and Memphis Depay two essential players in Frank de Boer's XI. In fact, Barça's recent signing has been sensational so far, scoring two goals and providing two assists.

Now, the next challenge for the Netherlands is the Czech Republic. Sunday, June 27 at 6.00pm CEST, at the Ferenc Puskás stadium.

Spain: Alba, Pedri, Eric García and Busquets

The team coached by Luis Enrique qualified in the last match of the group stage. It was a convincing and clear victory against Slovakia, with the four Barça players in the starting eleven. Spain ended the group stage with two draws and a win, and they now head to Copenhagen where they will play against Croatia (Monday, June 28 at 6.00pm CEST). 

It's worth noting that Barça's No. 16 and No. 18 played all 270 minutes of the group stage too.

Denmark: Braithwaite

Denmark ended their group stage with a fantastic victory over Russia to ensure that they finished second in the group.

Martin Braithwaite and his Danish team-mates will play the first of the Round of 16 matches in Amsterdam against Wales on Saturday 26 June at 6.00pm CEST.

France: Griezmann and Lenglet 

Didier Deschamps' side ended up finishing first in their group, with a win and two draws. Antoine Griezmann started all three matches, Ousmane Dembélé has returned home injured and will undergo surgery on June 28, whilst Clément Lenglet has been an unused substitute thus far.

Switzerland (Monday, 28 June at 9.00pm CEST) await Les Bleus at the National Arena in Bucharest.
