Igualada 1-5 Barça: Victory to consolidate league lead

Yet another win in the OK league for the Barça side. After the disappointment of their European exit, Edu Castro's team needed a win against Igualada and they achieved just that thanks to goals from Joao (2), Ignacio Alabart, Matias Pascual and Sergi Llorca. 

The game started well with a goal from the penalty spot from Joao after just three minutes. Egurrola in goal kept the home side at bay with several important stops as Matias Pascual added a second on 13 minutes to make it 2-0 to Barça at half time. 

Barça struck again not long into the second half through Joao again as he finished off a rebound from an effort from Bargalló. The blaugranes struck twice more with Matias Pascua scoring a brilliant effort and then Sergi Llorca making it 5-0 with just over 10 minutes left. 

Roger Bars late consolation was just that as the blaugranes took the win to maintain their hopes of claiming another league title.
