Barça were unable to extend their 17 game unbeaten run, 12 wins and 5 draws, as they went down to defeat against Santa Coloma in the local derby.
Intensity was not an issue in the encounter between the two Catalan rivals. The blaugranes struck first with Ferrao hitting a shot on the turn to make it 1-0 to Barça after just two minutes.
The goal awoke the home side and Santa Coloma and Slovenian Drahovsky levelled things up on 11 minutes. Nevertheless, Andreu Plaza's side were not distracted from their task and André Coelho put Barça back ahead with just 45 seconds to go until the break.
In the second half there were chances for both sides before David Álvarez made it 2-2 on 29 minutes for Santa Coloma. Barça sacrificed their keeper in search of the winner but to no avail as it was the home side who made it 3-2 through Cardona with a minute to go to bring the blaugranes' great run to an end.
