Barça were dominant and had the majority of the chances in the first half. Matheus against the post, and shots from Povill, Coelho and Ximbinha would've given the hosts a comfortable lead were it not for Cristian, the Córdoba goalkeeper, having the game of his life.

However, he couldn't do anything when Joselito took a quick corner and Ximbinha assisted Adolfo to finally open the scoring (1-0, min 17).

Chances

The break seemed to spur on the visitors, with Manu Leal and Saura having the clearest chances to equalise. The introduction of the goalkeeper-player by the Andalusian team put even more pressure on the hosts, but Andreu Plaza's side held on to earn an important victory.
